A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria, Lenche Andonova completed a Master’s degree in art and exhibition scenography (2007) at the Université de Metz in France. In 2004, she held her first solo exhibition at the City Museum of Negotino in Macedonia. She has taken part in a number of international exhibitions, namely Paratissima in Turin, Italy (2014); Pièce (S) Unique (S) in Moscow, Russia (2010); Water Tower Art Fest 2010 in Sofia, Bulgaria; [E] … Scape / Skopje during Nuit Blanche 2009 in Skopje, Macedonia; and numerous other events held in France, Bulgaria, Russia and Cyprus. Lenche has co-curated various exhibitions, including shows for the fifth edition of Nuit Blanche in Skopje and for “Qui Vive?” the 2nd International Biennale for Young Art in Moscow. In 2009, she taught at a summer art school in Ergates, Cyprus, while in 2012, she collaborated with musician Emmanuelle Lizère to create the stage design for “Clarificelle,” an interactive musical show for children.
