After studying piano, trombone, recorder and choral singing, Vincent Ménez entered the Paris CNSM in the singing classes of L. Nubar and G. Bacquier. From 1987 to 2004, he participated in all the productions at the Opéra de Paris, both as a chorus member and a soloist. He joined the Choeur de Radio France in 2004. He also remains active as a soloist, participating in various concerts, recordings and performances: J. Sourisse vocal ensemble, Aix-en-Provence Festival, Choralies de Vaison-la-Romaine, choirs from the «A Choeur Joie» movement, etc. He performs sacred music at the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris with Les Archets de Paris. Past, present and future roles include: the Baron in Offenbach’s La Vie Parisienne; Escamillo in Bizet’s Carmen at the Festival de l’Ile d’Yeu 2004; Guglielmo, Don Giovanni and The Count in Mozart’s operas with the Al’opera troupe of Melun and, in summer 2005, Christ in Bach’s Saint Matthew Passion at the Clairac en Agennais Festival.
