As a soloist, chamber musician and Principal Cello of various orchestras, Caroline Milot has participated in concerts which have been widely radio broadcasted across the American and European continents. Specialized in chamber music, she is a Grand Prize Winner at the renowned Coleman Chamber Ensemble Competition (Los Angeles) and won the Second Prize at the Fishoff National Chamber Music Competition (Indiana) in 2007. In 2003, she co-founded the Ponticello Quartet, a Montréal cello ensemble which has won several prizes and produces many concerts every year. Caroline Milot has played with many orchestras in Canada, including Montréal Symphony Orchestra and Grands Ballets Canadien Orchestra. On regular basis, she is a member of the Orchestre Symphonique de Trois-Rivières. A graduate of the Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal, she was awarded the Prix magna cum laude. She then completed an Artist Diploma at McGill University as well as a Professional Studies Diploma at the Cleveland Institute of Music in the United States.
