The Tactus chamber choir is made up of some twenty choristers, most of whom have advanced training and share a desire to grow beyond their abilities by producing high quality music. Its mission is to showcase new or rarely performed works as part of special concerts shaped around particular themes.
Tactus reflects its name. Transparent and resonant, this type of sound is ideal for exploring early and modern a capella music. Tactus also signifies a way of presenting music, and the ensemble brings together every means to make the concert experience an indelible one, using both education and aesthetic and disciplinary clashes.
