Visual artist

Karen Trask is a multidisciplinary artist living in Montréal and known for her work involving several media: installations, artist-books, videos and performances. With numerous solo exhibitions in Québec, Canada, Europe and more recently in Japan she participated in group exhibitions as well, namely in Canada, Columbia, India, Mexico City, the US and Europe. She was Artist-in-Residence in Helsinki, Paris and Tokyo.

Her videos have been presented at various festivals across Europe, Canada and South America; her work is found in many public and private collections.In 1999, she graduated from Concordia University (Montréal) with a Master’s degree in sculpture. As of January 2017, Keren is Artist-in-Residence at the Université de Moncton in Moncton as well as Mount Allison University, Sackville, New Brunswick.
