Atelier de musique contemporaine de l’Université de Montréal (ATMC) and Lorraine Vaillancourt perform works by Dimitrov, Hyland, Panneton, Stockhausen, Villeneuve and Vivier.
A panoramic vista of Tremblay’s legacy: works by any and all generations of his students are assembled here by Lorraine Vaillancourt and the musicians of the Atelier de Musique Contemporaine de l’Université de Montréal. A tribute to Tremblay the composer, certainly, but also to Tremblay the teacher, underscoring his influence on more than one generation of composers… something that continues to grow.
Lorraine Vaillancourt, conductor
