Ensemble MusiquAvenir and Véronique Lacroix perform works by Evangelista, Lesage, Ligeti and Nešić.

Véronique Lacroix, at the conductor’s podium, proposes two of Evangelista’s works for the Conservatoire de Montréal’s performance class alternately inspired by Indian classical music and Spanish folklore. Also in the program, Ligeti’s Trio for violin, horn, and piano and a work by Serbian composer Snežana Nešić for solo accordion, accompanied by the Ensemble.
