The OSM will present one of Claude Vivier’s most moving works, Lonely Child, showcasing the soprano responsible for its creation, Marie-Danielle Parent. With technical excellence, and are passion and sensitivity, Parent will guide listeners through a return to one of the beacons of the Québécois repertoire. This unique concert will be given under the direction of Jacques Lacombe with the renown Montreal Symphony Orchestra, as part of the Vivier series.
Presented as part of its “Sundays through Music” as well as Montréal/New Music Festival’s “Série Hommage.”
