The Erreur de Type 27 ensemble gets out of the concert hall for a musical afternoon in a bistro. In a summer programme composed entirely of wind quintets, Sokolović and Orea Sánchez provide listeners with music that blends a contemporary language with folk influences while Barber and Ligeti represent modern classics for wind quintet.

A unique contemporary music organization from the Quebec city region, Erreur de Type 27 promotes creativity, exploration and contemporary repertoire, with its high caliber musicians bent on reinventing the concert ritual.
The SMCQ has been moving in step with the lively rhythms of new music for over forty-five years. With its regular concert season, its Série hommage (Homage Series), an international festival, and a young listener’s programme, the society has served both as a platform for today’s composers and as a window on creative works for everyone.
