Pianist Mathieu Gaudet, recognized for the passion and intelligence of his musical discourse, is rapidly acquiring a reputation as a complete artist on the Canadian and international music scenes. In India, a critic has compared him to Glenn Gould… His recent Rachmaninov album, excerpts of which will be performed at this concert, has garnered much praise.
Concert presented by Orford Arts Centre Festival, hosting Ana Sokolović as composer in residence this summer.
