An intoxicating a cappella tour de force, sung in Serbian with English surtitles. The night before a wedding, girlfriends prepare the bride-to-be for her impending marriage. The text is taken from original Serbian poetry. The scenes unfold, not in a linear narrative, but in a playful interconnection animated through drama, distilling magic and fantasy from ordinary moments.

The SMCQ has been moving in step with the lively rhythms of new music for over forty-five years. With its regular concert season, its Série hommage (Homage Series), an international festival, and a young listener’s programme, the society has served both as a platform for today’s composers and as a window on creative works for everyone.
