The Conseil québécois de la musique has unveiled the list of finalists for the Opus prizes. The SMCQ is glad to be nominated for its concert Louise Bessette: 30 ans de carrière in the categories “Concert de l’année — Montréal” and “Concert de l’année — musique moderne, contemporaine”. Congratulations to Marie-Annick Béliveau for the nomination of her concert Ana et le Lion d’Or, an SMCQ coproduction, also in the category of “concerts de musique moderne, contemporaine”. Bravo as well for our partners in the Tribute Series to Ana Sokolović, to Danielle Palardy Roger for her Fables de La Breuvoir and to Quatuor Bozzini for its creation of In Between. The awards gala will take place Sunday 27 January 2013 at 3 pm in the Bourgie Hall of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
