Integral/parent work: La forme de l’esprit est un papillon

Two aural sensitivities are expressed in this diptych, two conceptions of the fluttering form: fanned-out polymorphic space—in ombrages et trouées, polychromatic time suspended—in couleurs inventées.

A moment of calm follows initial intensity. Nothing more may be heard, in its “concrete immateriality”, but the image of multiple coloured, and shapely resonances, to leave space for the performance of these masses and glittering entities (as well as firm kiss on well-proportioned lips). Five “micro-climates,” couleurs claires, couleurs sombres, couleurs nocturnes, couleurs graves, couleurs éclatées, lead to a quasi-central moment, couleur-cristal (from 6’58 until 7’49). With listening placed under the pressure of what preceded it, suddenly the whole rises up, and expands like an ascending hot gas.
