oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, piano, violin and cello
This piece is an attempt to juxtapose two unique universes: one emerges out of the music which plays on the ambiguity between timbre and rhythm within the periodicity; the other is that of Ghérasim Luca’s poem “Le rêve en action”, taken from his compilation Héro-limite. A certain poetic takes shape by alternating between these two universes since each one disrupts the trajectory of the other.
From a technical point of view, the composition explores thresholds and, more particularly, the degrees of fusion among the instruments within a cross rhythm, which is in fact the work’s only true material.
