Born in 1975, Christina Tannous graduated from the Music Conservatory of Montréal and studied with Marie Daveluy. Christina’s talent came to international attention as the winner of the 1999 CBC Competition for Young Performers. She is the recipient of many awards and bursaries including the prize for the best interpretation of a Canadian work at the CBC Competition. She has been a soloist with various Canadian orchestras, such as the National Arts Center Orchestra, l’Orchestre Métropolitain, and the Montréal Symphony Orchestra.
