An Études Supérieures en Musique II graduate from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, he obtained the institution’s Prix de composition électroacoustique in 2008. He composes for concerts, sound installations, and multidisciplinary shows, his music relating to the location, space, materials, and time. The incorporation of cultural references, classical, traditional, or ancestral instruments, and use of concrete musical techniques make his work largely colourful, a blend of tradition and modernity, ecology and urbanity, minimal movement, and spectral density.
