The concert production company Codes d’accès is proud to carry the torch for young contemporary music creators, producing numerous artists early in their careers. Codes d’accès provides showcases for young creators, putting the accent on the unexpected and on the discovery of new talents, and constitutes a singular tool for creation and distribution that gives them opportunities to perform in a professional environment that respects their work.

Performers presented since its founding in 1985 include cellist Claude Lamothe, pianist Marc-Couroux and flautist Claire Marchand, soprano Nathalie Choquette, saxophonists Marie-Chantal Leclair and Jean-Marc Bouchard, guitarists René Lussier and Tim Brady, violinist Clemens Merkel and cellist Isabelle Bozzini, guitarist Bernard Falaise, clarinetist Lori Freedman as well as percussionists Philip Hornsey and D’Arcy Philip Gray. A number of now well-established ensembles have also been presented by Codes d’accès, among them Pentaèdre, Ensemble contemporain de Montréal, Nouvel Ensemble Moderne, Tuyo, Bradyworks, the Quasar Saxophone Quartet and the Bozzini String Quartet.
