Composer
Julian Klein is composer and theatre director and artistic director of the multidisciplinary artist collective «a rose is». He teaches experimental music theatre at the University of Arts Berlin, and performance and interdisciplinary project creation at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt/Main. He is director of the Institute for Artistic Research Berlin, and co-founder and editor of the academic Journal for Artistic Research. He also is and was a member of several European scientific academies.
