Milliseconde Topographie is a Montréal-based duo of video and music creations. Coming from an acousmatic music background, both Nicolas Bernier and Delphine Measroch formed their ensemble in 2004, taking their inspiration from the (smallness) of things, the “micro but not quite invisible” movements which appear when we stop to catch them. Blending the sound of accordion, electric guitar and daxophone, their music flows through nostalgic soundscapes. It is then computer-processed with home-made software for real-time treatments. Fascinated by details of nature, they blend organic images with elements of design in their videos.

The works of Milliseconde Topographie have been recognised around the world and have been screened in cutting-edge festivals such as the DotMov Festival (Japan) and Transmediale (Germany). Their videomusic has also won awards at the Chicago Motion Graphic Festival (2004, USA) and Visionaria (2004, Italy).
