His experiences are many and varied: soloist, chamber musician and improviser. He is comfortable in all musical idioms and has played with various contemporary, classical, jazz, rock and world-music groups.

Guy Pelletier has taken part in numerous premieres, many tours of North America, Asia, Europe and Oceania and dozens of recording for Canadian, American, French and German radio concerts, in addition to 60 albums of various productions. He also worked as a soloist with many important composers in new music as Mauricio Kagel, Pierre Boulez, Franco Donatoni, Hugues Dufourt etc. He was flute teacher at Concordia University from 2000 to 2019 and at Collège de Trois-Rivières from 1996 to 2017. He stays open mind particulary on non conformist artistic projects and he is very attracted and interested in creative and explorating music of all kinds.
