After studying at McGill University (interpretation), Annabelle Renzo was invited to perform by major ensembles throughout Quebec. Since 2006, she has been principal harp with the Orchestre symphonique de Longueuil, supernumerary harp with the Orchestre Métropolitain, with whom she had the privilege of participating in their first European tour (2017), with the Orchestre des Grands Ballets Canadiens and several other Quebec ensembles. She shares her passion through teaching harp at Cégep Saint-Laurent. Renzo is also an artist-entrepreneur, and in 2016 used her talents to create “Sérénité Sonore” — combining music and well-being. She opened the doors to the loft Suspendu (Suspended Loft), an intimate concert space in Montréal, located in the heart of the Plateau Mont-Royal. The space features concerts with attendees experiencing the weightlessness of “hammocks-cocoons”. A program of events and a collection of handmade in Quebec musical instruments are also featured.
