Sound artist and electroacoustic composer Thembi Soddell has created the piece Let Go of Control for our 2 Minutes From Home series of new music commissions.
The work of Soddell resides in a zone or unrelenting darkness and the physicality of affect. Working on the nexus of musique concrète, raw emotion, and sound design they create dense and abyss-like sound worlds.
