Audrée Southière is a Montréal-based actor, who graduated from the École Supérieure de théâtre de l’UQAM. Although mainly involved with stage performance as a multidisciplinary artist, she is familiar with singing, dancing and music. In 2008, she co-founded the company Théâtre Acharnée, where she created Diversion (Théâtre La Chapelle) and T’en souviens-tu Pauline? (Espace Libre), a show for soloist inspired by the work of Pauline Julien.
Her diverse collaborations, notably with Pierre-Paul Savoie (PPS Danse), Nathalie Derome (Des mots d’la dynamite), l’Arsenal à musique, Quasar Saxophone Quartet, Yves Dagenais and Robert Lepage, reveal works focussed on creating singular scenic forms, where music and theatre decompartmentalize, respond to and influence each other.
