Viva Voce is a vocal ensemble dedicated to the highest-calibre performance of classical repertoire from all periods in uniquely entertaining “commentated concerts.” Ensemble members are chosen for their superior musicianship, skills in ensemble singing and stylistic flexibility, enabling the group to tackle everything from Gregorian chant to the most exciting 21st-century music. Viva Voce has received nine Opus nominations in six categories, winning a first prize in 2004. Their two-CD set of the complete Magnificats and three Salve Reginas of Pierre de la Rue came out in 2007 (Naxos Early Music) and was awarded the “Choc du mois” by “Le Monde de la musique” (France).
