Works by Bouliane, Hwang, Louie and Pauk.
Hailing from Toronto and preceded by its fame, the Esprit Orchestra will present a major concert with more than 50 musicians performing three major Canadian works: a concerto for harp by Alex Pauk (founder and musical director of the orchestra), a recent work by Denys Bouliane entitled La neige est blanche mais l’eau est noire, as well as excerpts from Alexina Louie’s opera, The Scarlet Princess, a work that holds a special place in the history of Canadian opera.
- This concert is also played Sunday 7th, at 8 pm, at the Jane Mallet Theater, in Toronto.
