Le téléphone bien tempéré by Johann Sebastian Bach, Walter Boudreau, Yves Daoust.
Public notice: Thank you for programming a quick ringing response (activated by the touch of your finger) on your cell phone with a ringing tone of 1 to 2 seconds. Please do not program any music excerpts (tunes, songs, symphonic themes, etc.), but only telephone bells!
Take part to a grand premiere for instrumental ensemble and… cell phones! Known for his grandiose and unique events, composer/conductor Walter Boudreau invites the general public to participate to an unprecedented event he designed with his accomplice Yves Daoust. The idea: to use cell phone ringtones — something now part of our daily environment — for their beauty. This gigantic performance will be preceded by a short rehearsal with the audience hosted by Boudreau himself.
