Ars Nova and Géraldine Keller perform works by Gilbert and Hudry.
Ars Nova arrives from France to celebrate its 50th anniversary with us! This famed group of musicians offers up a highly original program where two composers, Quebec and French, envelop us in their respective sound environments, echoing the turn of the century. Consequently this mixed music project gathers recorded “noises”, integrated with the instrumental notation which they inspired. A singular experience which will allow for the appreciation of a contrasting landscape, at times tinged with an uncluttered Montreal resonance, at times expanded by an abounding industrial exuberance.
