Composer Linda Bouchard dexterously translates the inherent humanity of Anne Carson’s poetry, drawing on the maximum potential of three on-stage musicians. The Bellows & Brass surpass their roles as instrumentalists to become on occasion singers, at other times actors, sharing the stage with a bewitching array of images and fascinating visual effects. Performed throughout North America (san Francisco, Los Angeles…), the Montreal run of this show is a not-to-be-missed event!
