Louis Brouillette and Caroline Demers perform works by anonymous, Bach, Berger, Bizet, Boëllmann, Champagne, Giazotto, Gougeon, Granger, Halévy, Handel, Lemieux, Letendre, Meilhac, Pierné and Plamondon.
Denis Gougeon stands before the altar! In the meditative atmosphere of the charming Église Saint Clément Church, in Bas-Saint-Laurent, the organ takes over the piano role in Gougeon’s Jeu des citations, a new version of the work, featuring mezzo-soprano. Also on the program: a succession of works from Quebec, including a premiere by Éric Champagne, plus wellknown European pieces.
