Nouvel ensemble moderne (NEM) and Lorraine Vaillancourt perform works by Berg, Boulez and Rea.
The Homage Series launch continues at the Maison symphonique with an interplay between modernism and postmodernism as Lorraine Vaillancourt presents Rea, surrounded by key 20th century personalities, ergo Boulez (Éclat / Multiples). A unique opportunity to listen to Accident (Tombeau de Grisey), a tribute to the famous French composer who left us prematurely, and Rea’s re-orchestration of Berg’s Three Pieces for Orchestra Op. 6.
