Works by Bizet, Mozart and Rea.
Take a deep breath! The OSQ brings you the opportunity to listen to John Rea’s frenetic work Time and Again, where the composer “attempts to translate into sound two essential activities of life: running and deep breathing.” Undulating music, where the timbre and sound mass are unceasingly transformed; a work to be lauded as part of the classical and romantic repertoire, as is Mozart’s famous Piano Concerto No. 17.
