Manuscrit trouvé à Saragosse by José Evangelista.
This fragmented work presents a mixture of musical genres just like the diversity of styles in this invented and creative “manuscript.” The stories intertwine and the tone constantly changes, from fantasy to libertine, from philosophical to picaresque. Designed for a small ensemble where nine singers portray approximately 35 characters, this narrative opera is presented in its concert version featuring production by Lorraine Pintal.
