From creative technophiles to virtuoso performers, works for full orchestra to majestic compositions, the SMCQ’s 49th season connects you to the most exalted music in the contemporary repertoire.
Once more the SMCQ will take its renowned place as a unifying force in the contemporary scene, featuring in its season a concert at Maison symphonique de Montréal, special guest artists and links to other art forms, notably theatre and poetry.
Please note: two of our concerts are within the framework of the Montreal/New Music (MNM) Festival. Its theme of “New Technologies and Surroundings” will also color the SMCQ season.
