Notice to all Associate Composers of the Canadian Music Centre
The Collegial Contemporary Music Prize is a music award bestowed yearly upon the “favourite” piece of contemporary Quebecois music from students at the collegial level enrolled in a CEGEP music program or at a conservatory.
Composers are invited to present a complete work, a movement or an extract of a suite, no longer than 15 minutes.
The Collegial Contemporary Music Prize accepts the following types of composition:
- Acoustic music (instrumental and/or vocal)
- Electro-acoustic music
- Mixed music (combining performance and recorded sounds)
- Modern music
