Gilles Tremblay has been named an officer of the Order of Canada for his contributions as composer and teacher, whose works have shaped the evolution of contemporary music in Canada. Gilles Tremblay was the honoree in our 2009-10 Homage Series and is an honorary member of the SMCQ. We wish him our hearty congratulations!
