German pianist Moritz Ernst proposes us an audacious program this Friday: Peter Eötvös’s Kosmos, Walter Boudreau’s Planètes and premieres by Sandeep Bhagwati and Jimmie LeBlanc. A pre-concert talk (6.30 pm) with composers Walter Boudreau, Sandeep Bhagwati and Jimmie LeBlanc will address the poetic intentions behind the pieces on the program, as well as some “kitchen secrets” around contemporary writing for the piano!
