To slow the spread of COVID-19, the Quebec government has ordered the closure of all cultural and recreational venues where people gather until March 30. Please note that SMCQ activities (including those of the Homage Series, concerts and workshops) are therefore suspended for an indefinite period. We are monitoring the situation closely to assess the possibility of postponing certain events to a later date.
We wish to express our compassion for all those affected by this pandemic, with a special focus on those at risk, and those in the cultural community.
We look forward to participating again in contemporary music. In the meantime, we invite you to continue following our activities on our digital platforms, such as the video vignettes and the comic strip featuring Katia Makdissi-Warren, or the virtual exhibition inspired by her music.
