Four performers listen on headphones to a specially constructed sequence of extracts from seminal works of Montréal’s “golden years” of electroacoustic music (extracts from works by Yves Daoust, Robert Normandeau, Gilles Gobeils, Marcelle Deschenes, Paul Dolden, Christian Calon and others). They verbalize their first-time listening experience to an audience who must imagine the music and sound from these descriptions alone.
